Education is Important in life
It is important to be an educated person in order for you to succeed in the 21st century. “Work smarter not harder” is a quote that everyone should follow if you want a good life style, earn more money, and work less harder. Education is the path to go.
In these times, being an educated person is really important because if people don’t educate themselves no one can succeed in life. People end up dropping school and working in the fields or construction and working ten to twelve hours a day. If you really care about your future you need to start looking
Knowledge is Power.
Learning is the most powerful tool in the world. The more you know the better you get along in the world. Unless you have a decent education jobs will be scarce and you will struggle for the rest of your life trying to make ends meet. You don't have to be rich to survive, but you sure do need your education to stay ahead of the tax man, hunger, and ending up out on the streets of the city. Education is wonderful and with every turn of it you learn something interesting. How you can help others by what you know, but also learn from others. It keeps your mind active and on the ball. As we age (and we all do) unless you keep your mind active you will have a poor quality of life. Knowledge keeps you alive and young. There is also the knowledge of life. Some people who have never had the opportunity for a fine education can be wiser than the ones that have a good education because they have learned much from life the hard way .Education is wisdom and having an education and closing your eyes and heart around you is the first turn to ignorance of the mind.
What is an educated person ?
What is an ‘educated person’? This topic has been discussed for years already, and it seems like till the end of my life, this topic will still be argued about. I believe that most people, when being asked this question, would say that an educated person is someone who has grown up under a tradition educational system, which is he/she went to school before and finally got a degree from a university. Is the definition of an ‘educated person’ this simple, or is it worth people talking about it for years and years and years? Now, probably, you may notice that there is ‘something’ that you did not aware of the real meaning of being educated.
In determining what is meant by being educated and what is meant by an educated person, we must first know clearly what education is. Education is the pursuit of knowledge and it is whole-life-long. Let us consider this case: however great you are and how fast you can read, you cannot read all the books published in the world and know everything in details. There are new discoveries and new things invented everyday, it is impossible to know them all. This is what an encyclopedia does, not human-being. Therefore education is not an objective that can be reached after fixed years.
Getting paid for better jobs
Having a education will allow you a better chance of getting a job that pays a above minimum wage. Many people who are making money because the employer is not paying you for what you know, but what you can do physically.Youth these days need to know the consequences of not finishing high school. School drops will attend is the Hard School of Knocks. Which is the bad experiences in life that will occur if you don't know. Ignorance which means not knowing will occur if you don't stimulate your mind with what's important. To survive you must have knowledge and money. Both of these equal power. I am not suggesting that all educated people are smart, I know many educated people who have no common sense. There are many who can quote formulas but cannot tell you one thing about LIFE in general. So you need both to survive in this world. I have always said if you don't live life, life will live you. Go to school, get your lesson, do your very best, increase your skills and fertilize your brains. The only useless brain is the one in a jar.
